Ned (Edward) Barnes, Kylebeg, Tralee, Co. Kerry and formerly of Coolboy,
Co. Wicklow. Peacefully, on February 3rd 2022, in the excellent care of
the staff of Skellig Ward at University Hospital, Kerry. Sadly missed
and fondly remembered by his loving wife Sheila (McGlynn, Castleisland),
his family Carol Paulsen (Abu Dhabi), Helen O'Neill (Balla, Mayo) and
Brendan (Kilcoole, Wicklow), sons-in-law Emil and Ger, daughter-in-law
Jane, his adored grandchildren Sophie, Alison, Kate, Dylan, Melina,
Daniel, Aoife and Sam, his cherished great-grandson OisÃn and his dad
Colin, brothers and sisters Nancy (Coolattin, Wicklow) John
(Manchester), Paddy (Coolboy, Wicklow), Dolly (Carnew, Wicklow), George
(Dublin), Joe (Hacketstown, Carlow), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law,
nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours, many friends and most
especially, his plants in the garden. Predeceased by brothers Jim, half
twin Mick and sister Maggie.

Reposing at Tangney's Funeral Home, Church Street, Castleisland, Co.
Kerry, on Monday evening from 5pm to 7pm. The funeral cortège will
depart Tangney's Funeral Home on Tuesday morning at 11am and travel on
route, via Killarney, to the Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy, for a
Celebration of Life Service at 1pm. The Service will be livestreamed on www.islandcrematorium.ie
and follow livestream link. No flowers, please. Donations, if desired,
via online donation link below ''Kerry Hospice Foundation''. Due to
ongoing Covid 19 precautions, it is respectfully requested that all
those attending this funeral will wear a face mask and avoid shaking
hands.
